Think of the Klipsch Gate as having two main jobs. First, it lets you wirelessly cue up digital music from your computer or the internet and play it on an existing stereo system. Second, it accepts audio signals from an old-school "legacy" source like a CD player, and it sends those signals wirelessly to compatible speakers and components in other rooms. Setup and control are made simple with the free Klipsch Stream app downloaded to your smartphone or tablet.

Klipsch Stream and Play-Fi

The Gate was designed to be part of a Klipsch Stream multi-room audio network. Klipsch Stream uses your home Wi-Fi® network and DTS Play-Fi technology to stream music wirelessly from your phone, tablet, or PC. The system's compatible with major music services, such as TIDAL, Spotify® Connect, Pandora®, Amazon Music and iHeartRadio. And you can also enjoy SiriusXM if you have a subscription.

Build out your multi-room audio system with additional Klipsch Stream or even other brands of Play-Fi speakers and components. You can have speakers in different rooms playing the same thing, or each speaker playing from a different source.
