The Homage Tradition Collection is the reinterpretation of the Homage Collection, the most memorable and iconic collection of Sonus Faber, now completely revamped and
transformed under the sign of innovation.

The collection features four elements: Amati, Guarneri, Vox and the newcomer Serafino, 3,5 way floor standing speaker that complements the family paying an homage to Sunctus Serafini, a lute master who worked in Venice during the first half of the 18th century.

The made in Italy appeal and the great Sonus faber tradition find their expression in a classic and slightly retro approach, where precious finishes and materials are the “fil rouge” inside Sonus faber history and follow many new features in design and electroacoustic project.

As Andrea Amati is considered the forefather of the violin making tradition of Cremona, since he gave the rules for techniques of construction, shapes and proportions of string instruments as we know them nowadays, Amati Tradition represents the synthesis of original conceptsand architectural ideas.Flagship of Homage Tradition collection, Amati is the new reference floor standing loudspeaker in the Sonus faber catalogue, right after Il Cremonese, Lilium and Aida, from which inherits many technical solutions and patents.

The violin shape of the speaker cabinets is also the fruit of careful research and major restyling. The curves of the sides change and double, blending the lines of previous Homage models with those inherited from Lilium and giving these speakers larger volumes especially on the back.

The world of ancient shipyards and the tradition of Italy’s shipwrights are the essence of the inspiration of the design of the Tradition collection.
